Ok so, um… Hello. This is Rick speaking. In this post, the first of many (hopefully) I’m going to tell y’all about my journey so to speak when doing my digital art piece “Choosing Between Good & Evil”. Here it is btw:
So there’s Spawn at the center of the image, with two little Todd McFarlanes as the classic angel and devil combos we all saw in cartoons. Down here is a little image of the Todd himself if you don’t know who he is (Spawn creator). I think I got the resemblance pretty ok tbh.
First of all, my pal Max gave the idea for the drawing, so I started pondering and then I made a sketch in my drawing book:
After all that I cleaned it up, inked and colored it digitally in Autodesk Sketbook with my old ahh iPad lol.
Finally after a year or so, I kinda make an alternate version as if it was a comic book cover. Here:
